Here’s everything you need to know before spring renovations

Oh my gosh, we are almost done with winter, the cold, and the drab weather. I am so thrilled that it’s almost time for spring renovations and projects. Here are three of my top design ideas to transition your home for spring.

BRIGHT IS RIGHT

If you’re anything like me, spring means brighter colors, florals, and sunny blue skies, and what better way to bring spring inside than with brighter, more vibrant walls or wall coverings? Take a look at this beautiful blooming wallpaper that showcases the best of spring with a nature-inspired pattern. You can easily create a floral wallpaper accent wall to inject vibrancy and the feeling of spring into your home, or you can also try bringing color in with a fresh coat of paint in subtle shades of green, light blue, or white.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS ARE BEST

When we enter a new season, it’s always a great time to start fresh. Start with updating the entryway or foyer by adding fresh florals, or decorative accessories. You can even update your wall covering, or even your lighting fixture. Now is the time to lighten up that entryway.

BRING THE OUTDOORS INSIDE

I am a huge fan of bringing fresh blooms, potted plants, or vases with greenery inside the home. These are great ways to create a fresh space inside that reminds us of nature and makes us feel spring all over. While my personal favorites are fresh blooms, you are also able to bring green inside with dried botanicals or tree stems, which will last you through the entire season.
