Top Picks: Gifts to Celebrate the Holidays
The holidays are a magical time, and I’m excited to share my top selections to help you make the most of the season. Whether you’re searching for the perfect gift or creating special moments, these recommendations are sure to inspire.
1. Personalize Everything
Giving pictures is a wonderful way to give a physical gift that represents something personal. No one bothers to print pictures anymore because everything is digital, but when I give someone a framed photograph of a shared memory that we have together, it is wonderful. This is something you can keep in mind all year long. Especially if you have single friends who don’t have families, pictures of your friends surrounded by people they love is a wonderful treasure. You can pick up any frame from anywhere, or have one custom made – whatever your budget allows.
2. Goode Company Pecan Pie
Goode Company Pecan Pie in the custom box is a great gift for lots of different people. They can enjoy it with their family, or take it to a gathering that they have planned to share with friends. I send it to friends, clients, everyone.
3. Red Bubble
Red Bubble is a great place to shop. They support artists. We have an artist friend named Dawn Gaskill and her art is on RedBubble. You can search by artists. Their scarves are especially gorgeous. They have everything from bedding to bags and they take the artist’s work and put it on different gifts, and it is just fabulous. And a great value.
4. Scooter Bags
For your friends and family who love to travel and have children, carry-on bags that convert into scooters are a huge win! Parents and children love them.
5. Cashmere Travel Blanket
One gift I received one year, which I still love and appreciate, was a cashmere travel blanket and eye mask in a cashmere bag. I think this is a wonderful gift. It is elegant and practical.
6. Airplane Pockets
My new fun travel gift that I’m giving this year is “Airplane Pockets” and it is only 29.00 on Amazon! This keeps all of your belongings organized, secure, and free of whatever disgusting thing the last passenger left in the seat pocket.
7. Herrschners Ornament Kit
Are you trying to keep any family traditions alive? Pass on to the next generation a gift to keep loved one’s memories alive. My grandmother used to make beautiful ornaments, and I’ve recently found Herrschners Ornament Kit This doubles as a nice craft to do with family members, so they get a gift, and I get to spend time with them.
8. Kaftan
A beautiful Kaftan is a great gift. Feeling beautiful in something comfortable is everyone’s dream. Whether lounging at home or going on a Caribbean vacation, this is great. I just picked up a beautiful one for my daughter.
9. China – you cannot go wrong.
I love beautiful plates and objects made of china and porcelain and many of my friends have the same appreciation. This gift can be in any price range. You can go to Neiman Marcus, Khul Lindscom, and or Replacements.
10. Halcyon boxes
Another gift that I think is great is Halcyon boxes. A Halcyon box that has a personalized meaning to it is wonderful. My grandmother gave me one, and I’ve loved them ever since. It had on the outside of it, “Look without and think of me, look inside, and my love you’ll see.” And when you open it, there was a mirror. I just love it to this day.
