His body of work includes, hosting Emmy-nominated, Moment of Luxury, a lifestyle series seen on PBS nationwide, and is an in-demand speaker in the design and luxury lifestyle circuits. Bill brings to Moment of Luxury the artistic eye, adventurous spirit and extensive knowledge that has made him one of the world’s leading interior designers.

Oscar Banta-Guevara

Oscar Banta-Guevara is the Senior Design Associate at William W. Stubbs & Associates. His modern aesthetic for traditional design strikes a chord with his clients by complimenting Bill’s artistic style for design. A native Houstonian, Oscar has nurtured relationships through his work in interior design retail. He has worked with many Houston institutions, like the iconic Kuhl-Linscomb; Sylvia Longoria Dorsey, who leads the Longoria Collection; and luxury silver retailer Christofle; and the River Oaks design emporium Krispin.

Oscar’s transition to the world of interior design was quite fluid. His key assets are his persistence to deliver first-class customer service, his discretion, and his flair for fashion and creativity. Bill Stubbs is known for his tactful timeless design, and Oscar adds a layer of modern and livable pieces that embody their symbiotic relationship when it comes to creating spaces that are relational and conversational.

A graduate of the Art Institute of Houston, Oscar is well-versed in antiques, and is inspired by his travels. He applies his knowledge and expertise to creating and coordinating all facets of design, from fixtures to lighting, hardware, hard surfaces, flooring, and wall coverings for his clients, their architects and their builders. Oscar is a driving force behind Bill by assisting with project management, installation, and final delivery.
