Katherine’s journey as a designer has been a worldwide adventure. From the bazaars in Istanbul and Cairo, to the markets in Shanghai and Thailand, each destination has added to her identity as a designer. Having lived in the Caribbean, Africa, Europe and Asia, her design aesthetic takes on a global perspective. She is inspired by the colors and textures that shape the myriad of cultures in which she has traveled.
Home should be a reflection of a life well lived, and to that end, each project is at once unique and individualized to the person for whom it is created. Authenticity, beauty, functionality, and joy are the key ingredients for every space. Her clients always seem to end up becoming her friends, and she finds it such a privilege to get to enrich their lives by enriching their surroundings.
